About the HUB
"regional sports center"
Whether it’s an airport, a train station or a computer network, a HUB is a place to connect. the HUB in Liberty Lake is no exception. It’s a place for people of all ages to connect with Creation, their Community, and their Cause.
Creation
It is a privilege to connect people with the Creator and Creation. Bertrand Russell once said, “Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” The HUB uses sports as a means of providing personal and community renewal. May we be good stewards of this beautiful area we call home! May we help people physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually!
Community
We need each other. People weren’t meant to “do life” alone. We were created to be known, respected, and loved. The HUB is where people with different backgrounds and beliefs come together to work for the common good. Young people learn teamwork in a sports setting that prepares them for the world of commerce and industry. Rick Warren wrote, “It’s not about you. The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness.”
Cause
Every young person has a dream of doing something great, of giving their lives to a cause greater than themselves. The HUB is a place to dream such dreams, to discover destinies, a place to become the “cause” for which they were created. Our purpose in life is best discovered when we jump into serving others. Here, “every person is a winner.”
